  • Dr. Eric Knost, superintendent, initiates the Board Meeting by discussing future RSD events. “The Rockwood Art Show at Wildwood Middle School was attended by 10,000 people last year,” Dr. Knost said. “It’s an excellent opportunity to showcase student art. If you haven’t been, you should go. It’s phenomenal and very professional.”

  • STLCC officals discuss a potential partnership with RSD: the Early College Partnership (ECP). ECP is a program that provides cost-free college credit to high school students, hence allowing them to obtain a two-year associates degree while still in high school. The proposal passed on a 8-0 majority.

  • Randy Miller, Board of Education director, listens to a presentation. Miller was newly elected to the Board on April 4th, along with incumbents Lynne Midyett and Dr. Keith Kinder.

  • The Board of Education presents a video to the audience documenting the efforts of high school students in tutoring younger middle school students in music. The effort was widely acclaimed by Dr. Eric Knost, superintendent.
