Club Spotlight: Choir

MHS Choir has continues of their tradition of Singing Telegrams which connect couple from separate sides of the school together in a harmonious tune.

Jacob Glasgow, junior, has been a part of MHS choir since his freshman year but he has more recently joined Concert Choir.

He delivered singing telegrams during 3rd hour this year and he said choir has sold over 200 singing telegrams.

The singing telegram was completely sold out by Thursday at the end of second lunch.

Glasgow said the proceeds from singing telegrams, which cost two dollars each, are going towards the choir program at MHS.

“It’s a booster for the choir program”, Glasgow said.

Alec Chae, junior, has also been a part of MHS Choir since his freshman year and he said he is in for his future.

“I enjoy it [choir] and I’m going to college in either New York or Los Angelas. SO I want to make a career out of it.

He said he hopes to be considered a triple threat which means he can sing, dance, and act.

He said the singing telegrams are the fun part of the class and choir shouldn’t be taken as a joke class.

“I just love singing in general and I want to make a career out of it”, Chae said.
