“Stop the Stigma” and stop bullying
Letter to the Editor
Your article titled “Stop the Stigma” made me really proud to go to a school where our newspaper is doing something about a huge issue within our school and within our country. I think that it is so important to spread awareness about suicide and mental disorders. As a person who has been affected by mental illness, it means a lot to me that people care. Bringing this issue to light will help students who have mental issues feel some support. I also hope and believe this special edition will help with bullying, if people realize what can come from bullying like Megan’s story, which I thought was really brave and completed this edition. I would also like to say thank you for going outside the box and making this.
